Garrison Bandroom burns to the ground and is replaced by a
brand new building.

Wanganui
City Brass shares the aggregate for the A Grade Championship
of New Zealand with Dalewool Brass of Auckland. However,
they are relegated to second place on a rule that states that
in the event of a tie, the band scoring higher in the Test
shall be deemed the winner.
